Online Application to Apply for Low Income Subsidy for Medicare Part D The Social Security Administration is responsible for processing applications to provide extra assistance with prescription drug costs for individuals with limited income. Individuals may apply online for this subsidy. Access to Benefits Coalition The Access to Benefits Coalition is a coalition of dozens of organizations working to educate Medicare beneficiaries about the Medicare drug benefit. The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists is a member of this coalition. Check out their Web page for resource information. The Medicare Access for Patients-Rx Coalition MAPRx is a coalition of patient, family caregiver and health professional organizations committed to safeguarding the well-being of patients with chronic diseases and disabilities under Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage. The ASCP Foundation is a member of this coalition. Medicare Rx Education Network The Medicare Rx Education Network provides a variety of links and resources on the Medicare drug benefit. ASCP is one of the sponsoring organizations for this coalition. Kaiser Family Foundation Resource Information The Kaiser Family Foundation has a variety of resource information related to the Medicare drug benefit.
